Hi Everyone

I am using Crystal Reports version 9 and I'm doing a report for my HR department regarding positions in the company. I want to set a parameter so my customer can choose which position number she wants to report on at any given time but when I try to pull the values to use it doesn't show them all and I get the same problem when I try to use employees names (the list of values only goes from a - c and I don't know how to get d-z in there.

Is there a way to retrieve the rest of the data in the fields?

Thanks.
Vickie

Please share how you are setting up parameters and the record selection formula.

I think the issue is that you are trying to populate the defaults by browsing the field, and there is a numerical limit to this set in the registry. If you are sophisticated, I think you can change this setting (I can't help you there), or you can populate the defaults by creating a separate report of the values and their description field, export this to text and eliminate the quotation marks and extraneous labels, and then import the text report to populate the defaults.

Thank you all so much for your help. I was able to change the registry settings and my problem is solved. As always, you have saved the day for me! I appreciate it.
