CR4.5 GROUPS / SECTIONS

i m trying to create reports thal could have different number of group each time. I mean user could decide to group by categoryorder and then by orderitem and orderdate (p.e. monthily) OR to decide to group only by orderdate.

I have tryied to design maximum number of possible groups (and then to show/hide (formatsection property) but it doesnt work . It only hides groups , the grouping is made.

CR Version 4.5 - VB6 - SQL server 7.0
