I am using Crystal Reports XI and trying to connect to a Unidata RMS. The DB files have been converted to SQL compliancy and the Unidata ODBC drivers are loaded. When I try to logon to the DB it gives me an error 08004 key value must not contain special characters. The password does have a @ symbol in it. MS Access allows me to logon with this password but CR does not. Thanks for any help or advice.

It hurts when I do this, well don't do that ;)

That is to say that I'd change the password to not have a @.

There are anomalies when passing certain characters into ODBC drivers from Crystal, it sounds like you've found another.

The really kludgy solution is to link the tables into Access (make sure you select save password) and then report off of the Access tables or create a query in Access as the reports datasource.

Hi - This is not Crystal report related but a Unidata question.

I would like to know how to download Unidata ODBC driver? I have a database which is running in Unidata, and would like to use Unidata SQL to query it. Please guide me.

Thanks,
Lava
