Is it possible for someone to export a crystal 8 report off the web without having crystal on their machine? If so, how is that set up? With Crystal phasing out the compile/distribution (.exe) from versions 5-7 - we need to figure out another way to get reports to people who don't have crystal on their machines. Any help would be great!!

Yes, definitely. Users can display, print and export reports from the Web. Crystal exports to a bunch of formats and each format may have caveats about how to format the Crystal report so that it exports like you would like.

You must install Crystal Web Services on a Microsoft IIS Web server and set up your application/reports. Then you need to decide which "viewer" to use. Active-X, HTML, Netscape. If you use the Active-X viewer, it will be downloaded by the each user the first time that the user runs a Crystal report from the web server. Brian J. Alves
