CR 2008 - Report Design question

Greetings and Salutations!

Can anyone tell me if the CR 2008 designer is similar to XI or earlier? My end users are needing to continue using the designer to develop reports and do not want to use a web based product. Thanks in advance!!

Yes - CR2008 is a DESKTOP based product similar to CR-XI.
