What is the CPUB prompt in LD 16 I can find no ref to it.

no that is not in my 3.0 merls but it is on the routes, mine is default off without a problem

The CPUB string was not found in the Admin book dated January 2006 either

CPUB - Convert to Public
By default it is OFF

ON Send NPA + NXX associated with LOC

LDN Send LDN to Public Hop Off Call

Per the NTP. I still am not sure why you would use it though.

What NTP did you locate it in? I didn't do a CD-Wide search

I was told it mayhave something to do with NI2 but I have yet to find the answer either its entrieging though.Off tolook for more info.

Check the ISDN Primary Rate Interface: Features NTP.

The Private to Public Calling Line Identification (CLID) Conversion feature permits the correct CLID to be sent to the CO when a call hops off the private network to the public network (the PSTN) at a tandem node.
