hi,

how can you find the CPU count and speed at which they are running on SUN 2.6 box

Try:

/usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdiag -v | pg

I think the info. will be found on the first page of the listing. HTH.
 
Another way would be to use
psrinfo -v
This should list each processor and its speed.

you can also look at /usr/local/bin/memconf perl scripts which i installed on the lsi and lsi3 last week which lists memory and cpu speeds

off the top of my head, although I don't know if it provides ALL the info you want...

Try mpstat. Read man pages for more options. This one works really well for multiple processors.
