What's the difference between Laptop CPU's and Desktop CPU's. Are they different in size? I heard that they go by, "mobile." I just don't want to make a mistake in buying the wrong type of CPU. What does laptop RAM go by?

Laptop CPU's are designed a bit different to reduce the heat they put out, simply because there's not a lot of room inside those machines for the massive heatsinks required on the top desktop CPU's. I don't know if you can even go out and buy an individual laptop CPU, they are pretty much integrated into your laptop motherboard. Also, laptop ram is called SODIMM.
