My friends computer got fried by lightning. Its a dell and i know the power supply is 100% fried i brought mine over and it didnt boot. I just found out you need a stupid adapter for it to work.. anyways. While i was checking his computer out i saw that it looks like someone was already in his computer and has bent/broke about 12 pins on his A socket cpu. Even with a new power supply would his pc boot up? Will these few pins mess anyhting up?

Thanks for feedback!

in the begining man created code.
in the end code will create man.
clones are coming only matter of time.
examples?

Bent pins cause problems. Broke pins cause you to buy another processor.

-If it ain't broke, break it and make it better.

If you can carefully straighten the pins (I use an empty ball point pen bottom - small and plastic), to repair. Remember, the two corners of the CPU are missing a pin for alignment purposes. Any other pins missing, give it a try - won't hurt, but probably a lost cause.
