CPPM RLS 5.0 IN OPT 11 NTDK11 CABINETS

Has anyone upgraded Opt 11 cabinet with NTAK11 to Rls 5.0 using CPPM C/S & S/S
with MGC’S NTDW61BAE5 96 DSP (DB96 in position 1) tn 11,12,13, on both. My problem is that I have 2 cabinets NTAK11 at the customer site with PRI in slot 6 in the 1st cabinet. At this time we are not
connected to the customer network. Just using a 3com hub for the Elan connections & no IP sets in service. I am having problem when we use DSP resources between cabinet only to make a call from digital to digital sets we get cut off of speech path, echo and clicking.
I have loaded all the latest loadware for MGC through PDT. If I take all the equipment back to my lab, using all the same cards, cables & hub, I can’t duplicate the problem. In my lab I have a opt 11 NTAK11 cabinet for my 1st cabinet and a rack mount cabinet that
was a my 1000s system that I am using for testing. No active PRI. Now having said all that. There is a bulletin (2007008424) that Nortel was placing all upgrades on hold for this type of upgrade on NTAK11 cabinet with CPPM’s but can’t confirm if it had been resolved. I’m just wondering if anyone had that problem before. Thank.

I think after looking through all Nortel bulletin, I found the MGCCAH17 that I don’t have loaded. That may fix my problem. I would still appreciate your comment if you had this problem. I still have to try it a customer site.

Use layer 2 switch for both E-lan and T-lan, 3com Hub will not work..

Thanks 9210. I am planing to use one at the customer. After tacking to a few teck’s yesterday, I seem that the Loadware MGCCAD46 is older. So I will replace it with MGCCAH17 and I am told that it should fix the problem. Thanks again.
