CPNW Query

On a site with 2 Option 81Cs we use Call Pickup Network Wide since some people in a RNP are not on the same node.
I've found some discrepencies in the CPNW block in LD 20, with some groups only being entered on 1 Node, but not the other.
Am I right in saying this:
Dick (Node 1) & Jane (Node 2) are on different nodes, both RNP 10
If Dick wants pickup Janes calls, there must be a CPNW reference on Node 1
If Jane wants to pickup Dicks calls, there must be a CPNW reference on Node 0
If it doesn't exist on 0, Dick can pickup Jane but not Vice versa?

Update:
I've done some testing on the 2 nodes:
2 phones (1 on each node, DN's 1000 & 2000)
Assigned to new RNP 998 (No other phones in)
No CPNW setup for Group

When I dial DN 1000 and try pickup from 2000, nothing works which is correct, but on console I get:
ERR245
& then
ERR5491

I've checked that there's no link to the CPNW from those phones, how would it know to look for network pickup when it shouldn't?
