Have a client with CICS 6.1 and CP100 2.0. I'm unable to change dial 0 properties. In programming disabled Gen. Del. mbox as requested by client. Made ext22 dial 0 from table 1. Made ext 22 attndt set under Op Status. Made ext 22 dial 0 in System Programming. Internal calls to ext22 go to mb22. Incoming calls are answered by AA at 2 rings. Ext 22 is FNA to voicemail at 4 rings. If I call in and press 0 after AA answers it rings 4 times and goes to GENERAL DELIVERY NO MATTER WHAT!!! Tried changing FNA, DRT and trans callback to maximum values. Dial 0 from AA and rings 10 times then goes to GENERAL DELIVERY!!! According to programming general delivery doesn't even exist. Rebooting system didn't help. Am I going crazy or have I missed something??

Thanks gentlemen for all your input. I think I have to agree with curlycord and try to get my client to upgrade.

I have just duplicated the same programming w/ mics 7.1 and cp100 w/ 2.0 sw. I assigned x222 as my attendant in table 1/ assigned x222 as attendant in operator status/cfna to x234(cp100) after 4 rings/ line 001 ans. 2 rings/ gen del set to (N)/ built ccr tree w/ 1 transfer point /saved and enabled. Dialed into AA/ picks up after 2 rings/ dial o/ x222 rings/ transfers to mbox after 4. It works flawlessly.
However what I didn't do was program dial 0 to x222 in system programming. How did you go about that????
Also even though gen del is disabled, when calling aa and dialing 100 it goes to gen. del mbox.Otherwise it goes to x222 when 0 is dialed....

That is where i looked however it is not Direct Dial 0. You can choose DD destination as internal/ external or none. Internal you have to input the xxx you want as your DD set. It does not allow for 0. I guess that is what threw me off.
I also set my DD set as 222/ dialed into AA/ after 2 rings it answers/dial 0/one moment please/ 222 rings/ transfers to mbox after 4.
With or without DD destination programmed, it works every time. If it's not a big deal I would just default and start from scratch.

Hey Ex, did you read my reply bro. Yes, this I know and did. Like I stated earlier. it works with or without Direct Dial. So, I don't know why it's doesn't work for Brutalis. What I can't duplicate is the call being routed to the gen del mbox as he states in his thread.
So I'm trying to figure out why it does......

Exactly, incoming calls are routed to gen del mbox instead of x22 that he has set up as the operator. I'm interested in knowing why his calls are routed to GD when he dials 0..

Hi atdjr123. You said "I'm interested in knowing why his calls are routed to GD when he dials 0.." I would also be very interested to know why this happens and then I could correct it. According to my programming calls should NEVER go to GD.

I had this issue once and there was an old mailbox that no one knew about and it was not initialized. So somehow, the system was taking orders from that and sending calls to gen. del. I don't remember all the details of that but when i found that mbox and deleted it, the problem cleared.
Good Luck.

That reply was to Ex bro. not you. Of course you're interested otherwise you would not have posted the thread. Your best bet would be to just do a reinstall and start from scratch.
