CP 200i Elan cable

We have a CP 200i that crashed and replaced it with a CP 201i. I am trying to reuse the cable from the 200i for the elan and clan. It does not seem to be working with the 201i the PBX does not see the elan. Do I need the specific cable that comes wiht the 201i?

there were some 201i systems that shipped and the elan and clan ports were reversed. Have you tried swapping the connections to see if it will come up?

I would suspect you need the correct cable. The 200I had that goofy breakout box and the 201I had the amphenol cable with the modem, elan and clan connection.
