Hi guys

I'm working on a 8500 Media Server

I would like to know if it is possible to increment the amount coverage points, I'm using a coverage path and I have in use the 6 coverage points but i need one point more, but I don't know how to do it ¿It is possible?

thanks in advance

Yes.

On the coverage path form, look for the field:

Next Path Number:_______

When your call has reached the last coverage point in the current coverage path, it will go on to the coverage path in this field to continue.

Add a new coverage path with the remaining coverage points, and put the coverage path number in the "Next Path Number" field.

No, that is incorrect.

Next Path is for a link to different cover paths with criterea in the next path set to "y" where the first path is set to "n" for the same criterea

If criterea in the next path is set to "n" it will again look to the next path of the second cover path in the linked list of paths for a "y" where the primary coverage path and the first "next path" are set to "n"

Hi, thank you
I did that you suggest me, but the call remain in the 6 point, the call never pass to the next coverage path, If I set Y in the DND/SAC/Goto Cover? fields the call automatically goes to the next coverage path but never enter to the first one, Do I missing something?

Thanks again

Oh, sorry if it sounds fool, but I didn't understand, so do you mean that it is not possible to use the next coverage to increase the coverage points?, It's not clear to me

thank you

Explanation of Next path for coverage paths is as follows:

Code:
# station 1000 has one coverage path 178, but different calls based on criterea
# will go go coverage points in coverage path 178. If the calls do not meet the
# criterea in coverage path 178, they will go to the next path 179 and if the
# calls do not meet the criterea in coverage path 179, they will go to the next
# path 180.

Oh that's right... (smacks own head). I'm a idiot.

What you want to do is put the next coverage path into coverage point 6.

When the coverage path makes it to point 5, the path in coverage point 6 will be followed next.

If you define coverage path 10 as the next path you want to follow, add it to the last coverage point as c10 . Calls reaching coverage point 6 will continue on to coverage path 10.

c10 is coverage answer group 10

To enter an extension that is assigned as a vector directory number (VDN) as the
last point in the coverage path, you must make an administration change. For
more information, see Avaya Aura? Call Center 5.2 Call Vectoring and Expert
Agent selection (EAS) Reference, 07-600780.

The double coverage restriction is lifted as of CM 5.1 when involving VDNs.
On the coverage path form, there is a new setting called "Cvg Enabled for VDN
Route-To Party?" Setting it to Y allows the 2nd coverage to work when it is a
VDN. However, you cannot have a triple coverage.

Hi Avayatier3, thank you so much

I need to play a little with the criteria to get the desired result. It's a little dificult to me because I'm new doing this and everything I know I had learned by my self, I think that I'm doing something wrong, any way I appreciate your time and your patience.

I hope I can solve my problem using your advices
Thank you
