I have a list of numbers generated from a database. They are formatted in Column A and can be any length in size. I need a formula to search through the numbers (they can be from 1 to 99,999) and pull out the duplicates and the number of occurances they are duplicated.

I have tried using the 'FREQUENCY' formulae but you need to specify a range of numbers in order for it to work. IFCOUNT only gives the number of time a specific number occurs.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Use a pivot table
Put the number as the ROW field and COUNT of number as the VALUE field then right click on the ROW field, choose field settings, advanced and choose to sort descending by COUNT of number - all your dupes will be at the top
