Could not start the ARCserve Job Engine - Error

Can any help me, all the other services are up and running, but the only one that does not start is the Job Engine. I am using ARCserve 2000 on a NT 4 box.

Error 2140 An internal Windows NT error occurred. Message appears.

I have rebooted the machine, this has not helped.

Hi Darren,

This is an indication that the Job in the queue may be corrupt. Try deleting and recreating it.

Also, when the job engine cannot be started this can be an indication that your product is not licensed correctly.
Check the Windows Application Event log and the Lic98.log in the CA_LIC directory for licensing errors.
