the way i look at it is this:
there are several classes of services
and you choose in your qos scheme which traffic will be put into which class.
so you want your voice traffic put into the nrt class...
whereas the qos is more of the policy..
ie you want to reserve 30% of the links bandwidth for the nrt class and you want to mark it priority for low latency queuing etc.
