I have a indd file (3.0 In Design) that is corrupted. I have tried several fixex including one that was suggested in a thread from October (thread818-1417864). I cannot place the file in a new document. I've also had the folks at Markzware take the file and convert it to Quark and then back to InDesign, but the file comes back with none of the text. That is all I need is the text.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I might try to get the text.

Oh before you do that

Go to hard drive/user/library/preferences and trash "com.adobe.InDesign.plist"

Don't trash them, just move them out of the folder, in case you need to put it back.

I probably should have mentioned this not on a MAC......it's on PC (ugh, I know).
