Corrupt Headers in Exchange 5.5

I have been having a problem with my Backups with Exchange 5.5, keep getting lots of mail messages with apprent corrupt headers. This makes BackupExec give lots of errors and it cacn verify, therefore failing the job.

Has anyone seen this before?

exmerge the mbx's with the problems, delete them, recreate them and exmerge them back

problem solved

moving all content of a mailbox to a pst, delete mbx, recreate mbx, and move all content works also, but is a lot of work
