My DSA persist.dat file is apperntly corrupt. Is there anyway to repair this file?

If I have to make a new one, then what happens to all the trunk data etc... that I downloaded?

Appreciate any advice.

Ray

The Trunkdata should be in the file "Trunk Analyzerx.dat" There should also be a "Processor Occupancy and Call Traffic.dat" in the same directory.(DSA/user/) The "persist.dat" contains data on all your:
connections, templates, scheduled actions etcetera. OK, it's a loss, but nothing you cannot redo in an hour I guess.

Your could try to look for another copy of the "persist.dat" in de folder /DSA/bin/
Could be there too. I'm not sure actually...
All I can do is help you remember to make a buckup in the future. :)

Good luck and plz let me know.

I had the same problem the other week called Avaya and there is no way to restore the data. Even if you recreate the persist.dat file will not read the old files. Theyu have nop recovery process they just say back up the files.

Well that sucks!!! I just lost a month of Trunk data... I wonder if there is a way to automate export data on this thing. Anyone know? I could just drop this data all in an access DB.

Thanks,

Ray
