Hi all, I got a problem with an aplication, the error MSVCR70.DLL is not found

I've trying to register the DLL and when I do it, the error?

Thereis not an entry point or the DLL file or the fiel in memory is corrupt or damage, use PVIEW to find the file and remove it.

So I don't know and have never used PVIEW. I try to enter to the register and remove the entry, but I got the same error with the aplication.
How could I remove the file from memory?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Gert,

The error message means use a process explorer to view what are being loaded into the memory and kill it from the process explorer's GUI.

Process explorer comes with many software like visual studio. But if you do have one already---I suspect you have, then you can download one from sysinternals (process explorer v8.35 for win9x) :

No need to install it. Unzip it and run.

Also, not all dll files can/need to register with regsvr32.

If you suspect msvcr70.dll be physically corrupted and not just in the memory, you can always replace it with a refresh copy from resources coming with your application?
