Cordless DN issue

I have a UNIDEN cordless via an ata at Ext-210. I can not get it ring when a T7316 rings via ANSWER DN. I can get the T7316 to ring when the cordless rings but not in reverse.

I have both set for APPEAR / RING. I only want them to ring when the actual extensions are dialed internally.

That's the trick...reverse it as ATA's do not support Answer DN.

So if Joe Blow's set is 222 and ATA is 333 then change the ATA to 222 and the set to 333, put Answer DN on 333 for 222.

Mailbox 222 = Ext: 333 so MWI works and 981 asks for PSWD instead of LOG

thanks. It's in the warehouse in the trick is when he's at his desk he wants to be able to answer the cordless when he's out in the warehouse he wants to be able to answer the desk.

Just have people call 222 only as both will ring, dont have the call one or the other.

Ok now I get you. So if they always dial the cordless extension he will always get both and the page tone will always go out over the PA. Ok I get it now.

Thanks. That will also make it easier for the staff to just remember one ext.

It is working just fine except that now his voicemail is no longer taking messages and I do not hear his personal greeting any longer.

After 4 rings it just reverts back to the AA. Now If I dial the other extension I do hear his greeting.

You have to put the voice mail box on the main DN, in your case the cordless. CFNA reverts to the forwarding DN's mailbox.

Ok so change vm to cordless which is dn 210 and then how do i mwi to light on his t7316 which is dn 201?

If you remove any voice mail on 201 you can add 201 as a secondary DN to vm 210.
