Copying volumes to new disk

Hi.
I would like to know if there is a way to copy volumes from an existing server to a new disk with a method different that Novell Copy utility... i have to move data from a disk to a bigger disk but i would like not to wait for this command to finish... i downloaded the Server Magic from powerquest but it demo mode can´t see my scsi 36 Gb disk...
Any comment will apreciate
