I ma running Windows XP Professional and need a way to copy the list of all of the running processes listed in Task Manager under the tab processes. I have tried to use CTRL-C and CTRL-V but these do not work. I tried using print screen and that does not work. How can this be done? Or is this information located somewhere else in a file folder that could be copied and printed out?

intuity,

Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-System Information.
Expand Software Enviroment then click on Running Tasks. This shows all the running processes that are in Task Manager. If you hit File-Export you can export them to a text file.

Bcastner and Titleist,

Thank you both as your suggestions have solved my problem. I apprecaite it very much. Intuity.

Process Explorer (Bill's second link) is a heck of a tool. I've used it for a year (maybe two can't remember), and I just can not stand troubleshooting a system without it.

and yes, there is another way. real handy when you need screen shots of the display.

(hold down shift & hit print screen) then go to programs\accessories\paint when the program opens click edit and then paste. now you can save and print the display

hope this helps
