Copying files from NT boxes using Robocopy

I use Robocopy to copy files from a number of servers, some are NT and some are Windows 2000. I have no problem getting to the 2000 boxes but cannot copy from the NT ones. The log files give the error "Login Failure: Error in user name or password".
Does anyone know of a workaround for this? Any help is much appreciated.
