I spent a couple of days writing a CMS report and would also like to use it on another site without having to write it all over again. I'm not familiar with UNIX but is there a simple way of copying such a designer report from one CMS server to another?

I am using CMS ver 9, but I think this is available in version 8.

- Go into the reports screen (Select a Report)
- single click on the report you want to export
- Click 'Copy' at the bottom of the screen
- Pick the option - To a PC File
- Type in the report name and save it (use the default directory)

Log onto your other CMS site
- Select the report area you want to import your report into
- Select Copy
- Pick the option - From a PC File to the CMS Server
- Click OK

You are all set!

Thanks Barry. I have version 6 on one CMS server and version 11 on the other but Version 11 doesn't recognise the file as a valid report. Oh well I'll type it all back in. It ashame Avaya doesn't write its software to allow this.
