hi,
my problem is that I can't copy records of subforms...
I have a mainform with several subforms, the main form has one duplication command (built by the command button wizard), by clicking this button I want to copy all the displayed information (of the main and subform) and put it into the empty last record. For some reasons it's just taking the informations of the mainform...
who can help me?
thanks...

Well a subform is a separate entity
It is a regular form just put on another form thus making is a subform.
So to add data from several places you need to get the recordset of the subform and deliberately put it in the new record. Like so:
Note: put this code after the code Access wrote

Me![Field On Main form] = Me![Subform name].Form![Field on subform]

do this for each field you want to make
DougP
dposton@universal1.com

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.
