Hello,

I am using Office 2000 (Outlook and Excel 2000).

I have been playing with outlook contacts and using a custom outlook form that I designed with a button labeled "Export to Order Entry Form". What I want this button to do is:

1. Open excel
2. Open an order entry form made in .xls format
3. Copy data from the contact into specific cells on the form.

If possible, I would eventually like to use the button to also attach the excel spreadsheet to the contact and rename it so it is the full name of the contact with .xls .

What I have found for coding completes step 1 and 2... but as for 3 I am getting errors and it is not working. Can someone post the proper method for getting an Outlook contact's data to a pre-formatted excel spreadsheet "OE form"? I have gone through so much coding that didn't work properly. Sorry I do not have my VB coding to post here at this moment.

TIA

Jahlmer
