I want to copy one paragraph or character format to a different document. I don't want to copy all the formats from one doc to another. How can I do that?
2. Place your cursor in the paragraph with the para tag, or select the word that has the char tag applied.
3. Open the Edit menu, point to Copy Special, and click the appropriate command (Paragraph Tag or Character Tag).
4. Place your cursor in file B.
5. Press CTRL+V. Frame adds the new tag to file B. But you'll notice that there's an asterisk in front of the tag name in the status bar. This indicates that the tag isn't really in the document yet.
6. Open the Paragraph Designer or Character Designer. The tag that you're copying should appear in the list. If not, select the appropriate text to make it appear.
7. Click Apply. Frame will ask whether you want to add the tag to the catalog. Say yes.
SECOND WAY
==========
1. In file A, delete all the tags except for the one that you want to copy.
2. In file B, import the appropriate format types from file B.
