Hi,
I have a homeworker who has recently purchased a new computer that came with Windows XP Home pre-installed.
The homeworker has re-installed their copy of Office 97 onto the new computer and all seems to be okay.
On the old installation of Office 97 on the previous computer running Windows 98 the user could copy (Ctrl+A)from a webpage and then Paste (Ctrl+V) in to a New document in Word 97.
However the new setup does not allow you to do this, all they get when they try to copy from a website is the text, no graphics or layout.
I have also resorted to installing Office 97 onto my own computer and the same problem occurs, I have also tested this under Office 2000 & Office XP and the copy/paste process works perfectly with no loss of formatting from the original webpage.
SR1 & SR2 have been applied to the Office 97 installation.
I have tried the paste special options as well, this is a bit strange as the only 2 options under Paste Special are RTF & Unformatted - should there be an option for HTML?.
Any help out there!!!!!!
TIA
