Copy email from exchange to external POP3

Hi Folks

I have a user who wants to collect all his exchange mail in a POP3 BT account when hes not in the office. I know how to forward exchange mail to another account but not how to forward a copy to an external account

Can anyone help please? is it possible?

The easiest way to do this is to create a Contact in AD with the external address.

Then in the Forward Mail to box select the newly created Contact as the forward to address.

Once you have dont that you can go back to the Contact and under Exchange Advanced you can Hide from Exchange Address list to tidy up too.

Tell the user to use OWA. Or configure RPC over HTTP. Or setup the POP3 service on Exchange. Or use Mike's method. Or get him a Blackberry......
