Copy & Paste Crystal Formula 1

When I write code in one formula, then try &
copy portions of it (or all ) to another formula,
Crystal bombs (hanges up). However, I can copy/paste
code within a formula. Does anyone have this problem?
If so, what is the fix or work-around?

Consider at least posting the version of Crystal that you're using.

Try applying the appropriate service pack:

In Crystal 8.5, I regularly use cut-and-paste and it never gives trouble. As synapsevampire says, there's probably something wrong with your set-up.

A possible work-round is to have Crystal running twice. I find this convenient when copying whole fields.
