I need to copy a form from one database to the another. I can't use the import feature because the form has unrepairable corrupt code at the vba level. The asthetics are such on the form that filling in the replacement code would be a snap compared to recreating the form.

Unrepairable code? Ok.

Well, I would cut and paste all source code (VBA) from your form into a Notepad text file and use the 'Import' function in Access. Also, before doing that, I would make a backup copy of your original database and/or form.

It seems quicker to me to simply nullify the problem in your code/form rather than trying to work around the Import convenience.

Comment all the unreparable code, and try to import John Fill

Unrepairable is a bad word...more like unacessable. There was a power failure on a pc while this database had a character in a date field. When I went in a few days later there was Symbol text (that garbled MS stuff) in some of the records and fields, and when went to bring up the VB code window, it says invalid format for the event procedure connected to the form. It's all mute though, I just copied the structure from window to window and recreated the code. Just a time muncher nothing serious. I apperciate the insight though...
