I am trying to allow a customer of mine to have access to a offline database, supplied to him on CD! When tested on our PC's everything works fine. When the client opens the CD using approach he encounters "International Character Set is different" however both are set to the same. I have tried reseting to Ameican format which solved some issues in the past. Can anyone shed any light on this?

The error msg is misleading; it's caused by the files on the CD being read-only. Your client needs to copy them to his hard drive and remove the read-only attributes before opening the apr.
