I'm not sure how long its been avaliable, I went from a 9.5 to cm2.1 but CM2.1 has a feature called. "Posted Messages" This allows you to display canned messages on the phone display, for example: out to lunch, out sick, something like that.

The message stays on the phone display of the phone you've activated it on, but it also shows up when someone calls. So its kind of like a outlook assistant to let ppl know your out of the office.

You can also create custom messages. I've been playing with it and putting different messages on ppls phones like "God is watching you", or "I'm ignoring your call", or "Get back to work".

Cool, Can anyone help in doing this over DCS trunks. I set it up on my G3 but my IP sets from my 8100 do not get the message.
