Nutcase tech support emailout required useres to delete cookies to solve a problem with a cookie from their webservice site.
They failed to advise that of course all other cookies would be lost as well.
Tried this experiment on my machine before advising students:
-copied my Win XP Home folder (C:\Documents and Settings\Peter\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files)
-used the IE6 / Tools / Internet Options / Delete files button; Files in the noted folder were not deleted!!
-used Delete Cookies button; cookies were deleted.
-tried to copy cookies from backed up copied folder; Win would not allow copying.
How do I clear my cache manually?
Now how do I restore my numerous useful cookies?
Thanks all,
Peter
