Looks like your options are:
(1) Create per-session cookie, i.e. one which expires when the user closes the browser. Just omit the EXPIRES attribute from CFCOOKIE.
(2) Kill it yourself at some suitable point by CFCOOKIE EXPIRES="NOW"
