converting table to text not working 1

I am relatively new to databases but have not had this sort of trouble to this point.
I am trying to convert a table to text in Word. I do so and then save it as a .txt file to import into Access. One of the fields in the Word table is one paragraph but when I go through the process of converting and saving etc. that field exports into Access as 2 records.
Short of re-typing the paragraph again, I am at a loss.
Has anyone any insight?

OK, I'm really green here... Seems I can only insert 255 characters in a field.
I want to create a db of questions and answers that can be accessed from a number of my customer's websites.
Is there a way to insert text greater than 255 charactes or am I using the wrong tool for what I am trying to do?

Look at the Design View of the table. Change that field from Text to Memo.

[tab][red]The plural of anecdote is not data[/red]
