converting Publisher files?

If you have PageMaker, use the Publisher->PageMaker conversion utility to create a PageMaker file. Then open that PageMaker file in InDesign.
You can also export PostScript from Publisher, distill that to a PDF file with Acrobat Distiller, and then place the PDF file in InDesign.
