Is there a way to convert graphs from stock market type software (or MS Excel) into quark without having to scan printed versions and trace into a new quark doc? Then saving it into an EPS for inserting into magazine pages as artwork before they go to the factory for final repro.
Many thanks for your time and help.

What version of Quark? With any version of Quark and without any third-party Xtensions, your best bet is to print from Excel to a virtual PostScript printer, creating an EPS, and then placing in Quark.

InDesign would be best suited for this.

Just an idea, but you could save your excel document with PRINT PAGE fix it a bit in photoshop, resizing and such, then save it as your EPS for Quark.

Many thanks to both of you, I will try your ideas. Version of Quark: 4.01 and 5.
have a great day
