Converting Javascript Slideshow to Flash

I'm redesigning someone's site and they want to keep a four-part slideshow that they have on the home page. It's currently done in javascript, and I'd like to do it in Flash. I'd also like the images in the slideshow to be pulled randomly from a database. I've searched for turorials, but haven't found anything that applies to the way I need to do it. Please take a look and let me know if you have any suggestions:
