You can use the Print-Screen button on your keyboard (which create a bitmap of your screen) and open a word document and paste it.
For the report you could use Adobe Acrobat and create a PDF file out of it.

I use the HTML help workshop from Microsoft. It is free and it has a HTML help image editor 'FLASH.EXE'. It allows capturing parts of screen and resizing the file. I use the resizing to show a smaller picture in my help files. Don’t forget paint brush to help in extracting parts of your BMP and to touchup. Attitude is Everything
