Converting DB with acCmdConvertDatabase? (link to other thread)

I have been working on this for quite sometime. I originally posted to Access VBA, but haven't gotten any response...so I'll link it here.

There's got to be a way, I have read that this command requires the use of "send keys" but I don't even know how to do that, or to make the convert go the right way...2000 --> 97.
