Converting Access Reports to Word

I have an application that produces an Access report. Once the report is generated, users are instructed to click on the blue 'W' icon on the menu bar to convert the Access report to a Word document. The application worked flawlessly for a couple of years. We've discovered, however, that once Windows 2000 is updated to SP-2 and/or SP-3, the formatting of the Word document is all screwed up. If you run the app under Windows SP-1...no problem.

Obviously, SP-2/SP-3 is doing something to compromise the conversion of the report to Word. Uninstalling SP-2/SP3 doesn't solve the problem. We're having the same problem with Windows XP.

Any ideas, anyone?

how are you converting the report to word?

I'm assuming that you're using the export function or some other built in module...

if that's the case, then you'd need to update that module so it can handle the new word format...

I'm using the 'Office Links' command button (i.e., 'Publish it in Word'). There is no 'new Word format'. This app has been running fine for a couple years already. Something about SP-2 or SP-3 is causing a problem. If I run the app from a Win 2000 (SP-1) machine, it still works fine.
