I have a tak to convert some 50 Access 97 file to Access 2003, I heard that if we convert 97 to 2000 first and then we have to convert 2000 to 2003, is this correct way ?
I tried directly to convert 97 to 2003 its working fine, so why i want to convert first to 2000 and then convert to 2003, its double work , so can any one help me which methos is correct:

1) Access 97 to 2000 to 2003
2) Access 97 to 2003

above 2 methods which one is better ? i need a prof document to show to my client, if any one can help , please do me a favour.

Thanks
Jay

You can covert straight from '97 to 2003 as far as the Data tables and queries are concerned.

I am not sure about the other the Objects (Forms, Reports, etc), but I THINK remember hearing that there are problems if you do not first convert to 2000.

So, if you are only interested in the Data Tables and queries, you can convert straight to 2003.
