I have had this issue, and this is how i kind-of solved it.
If you have labels that are in bold increase the length of the border around it, so that when it export to rft, the label has got some to grow, and it stops putting text else where in the report.
If you use any graphics there is not way of transferring these over.
I have issues with access creating random pages in between records, which to be honest i have not solved - but if you do please let me know.
The only way to get around all these issue, and get the report looking like to want it is to replicate the report in Crystal Report - it does it perfectly. Instead of inserting text into the rft file, it create text box's etc, and formats it exactly like you want - it takes over graphics also.
You would think since its an MS talking to another MS product it would work, but as ever other application can do it better...
I hope i've been some help.
