Hi

This is a general enquiry, but I hope someone has an answer! I have created a database schema within Visio 2003 professional and I want to be able to convert the .vsd into an SQL script to create the actual database. I am aware that there was an option on the previous version of Visio, which I don't have, which enabled you to forward engineer but this has now been removed and put into a version of .net that I also do not have!!

What options have I got? Can anyone help?

Cheers

Steve

It would be helpful were you to post the versions of the software you're using rather than just stating they're the wrong ones.

I'm using Visio 2003 Professional, as stated, Visual Studio.net 2003 professional and I believe, SQL server 2005 (it's not installed yet!).

I have created a physical data model.

Thanks

Dennis

This I know! Is there no other means, shareware potentially, that you are aware of, or do you think I may just have to do it the old fashioned way and type it?

Regards

Steve
