Is it possible to convert RAID1 (mirroring) setup to RAID0 (stripping) without FDISK-ing and FORMAT-ing the Hard Drives, under W2K OS? I've just got my new system and instead of stripping the two 20Gig HDs the system builder mirrored these two drives. I know how the whole thing of setting up RAID works, but I am not sure if it's possible to switch without doing it from the beginning (setting up in RAID BIOS and then FDISK & Format). I'm using the Promise RAID controller on MSI Mobo.

Thanks

Well since you can't prove a negative I can't prove that it can't be done, all I can say is that I dont think it can be done.
