I want to convert my e-mail account that I have setup in Outlook to an IMAP account (same e-mail username + password + e-mail server). I run the server on my own network that I'm getting my e-mail from, so that's not the problem. My issue is that I have all my old e-mails saved under my 'POP3' inbox in Outlook and I don't want to have to start from scratch. If I create a new IMAP account, it just inserts a new Inbox in my folder list and doesn't give me the 'sent items', 'outbox', 'contacts', etc.
The only way I can think of to do it is to archive all my items, delete my POP3 account from Outlook, and then import the archive into the IMAP version of my account. I REALLY don't want to have to do that.
Any ideas or is that the only way?
