convert c: /fs:ntfs (now very slow to boot)

Hey everyone, After having some security "concerns" I took an XP Home installation from fat32 to ntfs via the convert command. It went fine however now the computer takes an abnormally long time to boot to the profile selection screen. After that the computer runs fine.

any ideas as to why this occurs and how to adjust the computer to boot faster?

It would be worthwhile doing a Bootvis on this to see if the problem clears up.
